This area is the start of the beach. It explains a little about the caplin and when it comes in and parking is right next to this area. Great place to see the full view of the beach. There was a 20 foot high way that hit this beach on August 31st, 2008 and swept 4 people out to shore, whom got back and survived. Very scary, but a least everyone survived. You have to walk from your car about 1 minute to get here.
