This is a close up picture of the mining tunnel in the rocks on Bell Island. A very beautiful place, and most unique to Newfoundland. A must see when coming to this province. This place is not easy to access, but worth the walk. The rocks are very sharp and slippery, be careful and have good footing. Park your car at the foot of the cleared, dirt road and walk down to the beach to the tunnel and go through it. Takes about 10 minutes to walk to this destination from your car.
